I'd found information to help fix issues using DEBUG earlier in the day, not sure why I didn't go back to it again. Using DEBUG I was able to figure out the issues (incorrect version number on one of the packages, and plain text passwords don't work).
As a separate question, can I set package availability based on group, or only based on member?
I'm currently trying to use Tim's Package Server and it seems to work great! A basic but functional package server (which is perfect!). However, I'm having a little trouble with the auth.json aspect. I only get a "Service Unavailable" page.
