Installing be.bastelstu.chat_v3.0.0_rc_2

    Hello folks, i've installed be.bastelstu.chat_v3.0.0_rc_2 -- everything goes pretty smooth but, after i want to visit "Chat" in my menu tab, it says that link is invalid. I've tryed everything that was in my power to make it works, and seems like thats why i endup here. Also if this helps i'm using SEO Plugin by sick^ and it automatic deleted index.php/ from it, so i believe that doesnt make any problems with that.. i've tryed to put even index.php/chat/chat and reinstall it to another folder /messages/chat -- but nothing is working.. All help is appreciated! **Also i've searched forum, but most of it its on german, and i do not understand it**


    I'm using WBB4 2.0.7 (Latest one)

    Hi,

    in fact there was a similar issue with the SEO plugin by Sick^. Here is the corresponding German thread here in the Bastelstu.be: Ungültiger Link. As you don't understand German and Google translate is pretty bad for technical language I'll ask you some questions in English below :)

    Which is the folder you installed the chat into? What does show up in the address bar when you click the main menu item? Can you disable the debug mode, try to enter the chat, open the page source (using Ctrl+U), search for wcf\system\exception\IllegalLinkException thrown in  and provide me the following stack trace?

    Also i've readed German version with translator of course and i find that my chat is working on this url http://hackintosh.rs/messages/index.php/chat/1-tim-s-chat/

    Also i get this error all the time i enter the chat - check attachment

    Now the question is how e can fix that to be show for example http://hackintosh.rs/messages/1-tim-s-chat/ -- if that is even possible? :)

    Hi,

    the error message that appears in that overlay is probably directly related to the issue that joining the Chat does not work: The chat is unable to load the messages, because the SEO plugin generates an invalid URL. Please ask the author of the SEO plugin for help, this is not something I can fix. The chat itself works "fine", as you can see.
